Blossom-End Rot

Blossom-end rot can be found on many vegetables such as - tomatoes , squash, and peppers.


You will fist start to notice blossom-end rot the vegetable is small. On the tip a lesion will start to develop, the spot will almost look rotten.

By treating the problem early, the next fruit off of the plant can be produced healthy.


The cure for this is calcium, there are many ways you can add calcium to your plants. We recommend Cal-Mag, you add this to your water when watering your vegetables. Any fruit that forms after adding calcium will be normal.


To prevent Blossom-end rot you should use a vegetable fertilizer, they are normally higher in calcium.
